What types of payment do you accept?
We take all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) debit cards, and cash. We do not accept personal cheques.

Refund/Exchange Policy
If you do not pick up your order, Cake Bake Shoppe will not issue a refund, regardless of the circumstance. We will keep the product until it can be picked up or a new product can be provided; however, you will have to pay for both. We will not refund any product abandoned by the customer.

Order Complaint Policy

If the product provided by Cake Bake Shoppe is unsatisfactory, please advise us within 24 hours of your event. We will provide a full refund if 75% of the product is returned to us within that time frame. Refunds will not be considered if product is returned after the 24-hour period. We retain the right to judge our product quality for ourselves.

Order Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or changes of your online/in-person order requires 48 hours’ notice from the time the product is to be picked up. A refund or credit will not be issued if cancellation is made within the 48-hour timeline. Changes within the 48-hour timeline cannot be guaranteed.

Refunds on tiered, wedding, or custom cakes are handled differently. Please refer to the wedding cake contract regarding refunds for these items.

Delivery Policy

We use a 3rd party delivery company for local deliveries. All deliveries are made between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm the date specified upon ordering. A specific time cannot be guaranteed. If you have not received your delivery by 6:00 pm, please contact us via email at orders@cakebakeshoppe.ca so we may track your order. If we are unable to contact the customer for delivery and the item is un-deliverable, the item will be returned to the bakery for pick up or the delivery will be rescheduled. The original delivery charge still applies, and an additional charge will be made for rescheduled deliveries. If a no-contact delivery is requested, Cake Bake Shoppe is not responsible for items damaged due to weather/excessive temperature or sun exposure. If item is damaged in transit, please contact Cake Bake Shoppe by telephone at 403-266-7003 or email at orders@cakebakeshoppe.ca immediately so we may find a solution, whether that is replacement of product or refund. Failure to report damaged products immediately after delivery will forfeit any refund or replacement.

Wedding deliveries are subject to different terms. Please refer to your Wedding Cake Contract for specific terms.

Allergy Disclaimer

Please be aware that although we have strict processes in place to prevent cross-contamination there is still a slight risk of the presence of any allergen, apart from peanuts/nuts as we do not use these in our kitchen.

Out of Stock Policy
Our stock fluctuates throughout the day with sales demand and stock that we receive from vendors. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will first try to contact the customer either by phone or via email. We will give you other comparable choices to choose from or a full refund of your order.

What personal information does Cake Bake Shoppe collect?
Personal Information is information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual, such as a name, address, telephone number or email address. Cake Bake Shoppe may collect certain personal information from customers, business partners, employees and candidates for employment. Cake Bake Shoppe does not collect personal information when you visit the Cake Bake Shoppe website unless you choose to provide such personal information. No credit card information is stored on Cake Bake Shoppe’s website. Credit card information that is given by phone is destroyed immediately after approval and processing.
